Jarrett is a photographer, videographer & art director working in Los Angeles + Chicago. While growing up in the South side of Chicago, he became involved in the arts through local organizations and by collaborating with friends based in the city. His first love has always been photography, but the lines began to blur as new skillsets were introduced.
He attended UCLA as a design | media arts major, an interdisciplinary program that taught the foundations of design, new media, and narrative art-making. He carried the interdisciplinary foundation of his education into his creative career. He initially gravitated towards creative production in music (Universal Music, The DoLaB, HITCO Music), and broadened horizons by working on experiential productions with clients in TV / Film and sports (Hulu, NFLPA, NBC).
Jarrett works across photography, video & design. Recent projects include various content capture + edit projects for A24 campaigns including Maxxxine, Heretic & Y2K, as well as photo & video activations for Warner Brothers, Forbes, Walmart Creator, and Nike.
His work is featured in publications including Essence and Rolling Stone.
